Waiting on Wednesday

Hello all. Today's Waiting on Wednesday, a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine, I had some trouble. We all go about our books differently. Bones knows every book that has ever and will ever come out and is so on top of things that sometimes it scares me (jk kidding jk kidding) and I just randomly browse through bookstores, websites, etc. and if I see something I like, I get it. I'm not a very patient person, so I'm not very good at waiting :).

Anyways, enough of my rambling. This week's WOW is
The Diviners by Libba Bray

Okay, forget everything I just said. I am so excited about this book, it's unreal. You may or may not know that Libba Bray is one of my favorite authors of all time. So of course anything she writes is like manna from heaven. Here's the summary:

Evie O'Neill has been exiled from her boring old hometown and shipped off to the bustling streets of New York City--and she is pos-i-toot-ly thrilled. New York is the city of speakeasies, shopping, and movie palaces! Soon enough, Evie is running with glamorous Ziegfield girls and rakish pickpockets. The only catch is Evie has to live with her Uncle Will, curator of The Museum of American Folklore, Superstition, and the Occult--also known as "The Museum of the Creepy Crawlies."
When a rash of occult-based murders comes to light, Evie and her uncle are right in the thick of the investigation. And through it all, Evie has a secret: a mysterious power that could help catch the killer--if he doesn't catch her first.

It sounds a little different from her other books (I mean, is it just me or does the character seem like 12? Creepy Crawlies?) but I thought a book about beauty queens in a plane crash sounded weird and now that book and I are expected to have a spring wedding as it is the love of my life.

Are there any books that you're looking forward to that you think we might like?
