What does literary success look like to you?

If my words can be a soft landing place for someone in a tender moment, or a spark that lights a new path of self-discovery, then I feel I’ve succeeded.

It’s about resonance, not recognition. About creating something lasting, something that gently lingers in a reader’s heart long after the final page is turned. That quiet impact—that inner shift—is the kind of success that means the most to me.

How do you balance making demands on the reader with taking care of the reader?
For me, it’s all about invitation, not instruction. Radiant Bliss isn’t about pushing readers toward perfection—it’s about gently guiding them home to themselves. I offer reflections, practices, and prompts, but always with compassion and spaciousness. The reader is never expected to “get it right”—instead, I hold space for their own rhythm, their own unfolding. I believe transformation happens most gracefully when we feel safe, seen, and supported—so that’s the energy I bring to every page.

What drew you to writing your preferred genre?
I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of inner wisdom and practical guidance—the kind of writing that nourishes the spirit and offers a path forward. Yoga, spirituality, and personal growth have been pillars in my own life, and writing in this genre feels like a natural extension of that journey. I’ve experienced firsthand how healing and liberating these teachings can be, and I felt called to share them in a way that feels soulful, accessible, and heart-led.

How do you do research for your books?
My research is a blend of study, lived experience, and intuition. I draw deeply from classical yogic texts, philosophy, and mythology—but I also reflect on what these teachings mean in the context of modern life. Much of what I write comes from years of personal practice, teaching, and learning from the wisdom of others. I keep a journal where insights land during meditation or on the mat, and I’m always listening for the deeper threads that want to be woven into the story.

What makes your latest book an exciting read?

It’s the book I needed at various points in my own journey, and now it’s here to walk alongside others on theirs.

One quote that has stayed with me for years is from Toni Morrison: “If there’s a book that you want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it.” That became a guiding light for me—especially when I found myself searching for books on the Koshas and couldn’t find anything that spoke to the depth, accessibility, and heart I was craving.

Rather than wait for someone else to write it, I realized that perhaps the invitation was mine—to give voice to what I wished existed. That philosophy runs through all my writing: creating the kind of soulful, supportive, and transformative resources I once longed for.

At the core of everything I do is the belief that we’re not here to strive—we’re here to remember. To come home to our wholeness. That’s what I live by: gentle courage, conscious presence, and the quiet knowing that we each carry a light worth sharing.

What is your favorite quote from your book?
One of my favorite quotes from Radiant Bliss: A Transformative Yoga Journey for the Modern Soul is: “Your true nature is bliss.”

It’s such a simple sentence, but it holds profound truth. So often, we search outside ourselves for happiness, peace, or fulfillment—forgetting that bliss isn’t something we need to earn or achieve.
